A tenant app people will use
Tenants pay by Zelle or check and report it from their phone. The scanner finds the check, waits until it is sharp, and takes the picture itself - front and back.

The records around the rent
Set the amount, record what came in, and what went back at move-out - with the reason for anything kept.
Require proof per company. Tenants upload their policy; you are reminded before it lapses.
A fee after a grace period you choose, added on its own and waived in one tap.
Friendly emails before and on the due date, in the tenant's own language.
A printable PDF for any payment or the whole year - for the tenant, the bank or you.
Log a repair bill or tax payment against the building it belongs to, as it happens.
How it works
Name the company that owns it, the address and the units. Two minutes, and the rent book is ready.
Each gets an email with their unit, rent and term. Accepting creates their account and their lease together.
Today shows what needs you: payments to confirm, repairs to answer, messages waiting. Everything else stays quiet.
Private by design
Rent records, check photos and leases are personal. Keyset is built so each person reaches only what is theirs.
A tenant sees their own lease, rent and repairs - never another unit's. A partner sees only the building you share.
Images of checks open through links that expire within a minute, and can be removed once confirmed.
Partner and tenant links are long random keys; only a fingerprint is stored, and each works once.
Passwords are stored hashed, and repeated wrong sign-ins are slowed down automatically.
Questions
No. Tenants pay you directly by Zelle or check, and report it in Keyset. It counts as received when you confirm it arrived.
No. Keyset runs in the phone's browser. Tenants get an email invitation, set a password, and they are in.
Yes - the whole tenant side, emails and statements included. Messages are translated both ways, and the original is always kept.
Yes. Invite them to one property as view only or view & edit, choose which emails they get, and stop sharing whenever you like.
Log expenses as they happen; at year end Keyset sums rent and expenses by Schedule E line for each property, ready to hand over.
That is exactly who it is built for. Start with one building and one tenant; everything else is there when you need it.
Start with one building
Set up the building, invite the tenant and have a working record from day one.
